The main idea of this project is motivating and encouraging young people to actively participate in public processes and public life. Promote personal development, leadership. The project name GO! (Good Opportunity!) by itself hides the idea that each of us has great potential, but not always deciding to use it to take a step forward and grow. During the project, youth will participate in non-formal education and intercultural learning activities that will unfold, to take on trust, understanding and inter-cultural aspects of diversity. Un the programs there are activities which will encourage young people to think about “what I as a young person can do, to grow up as a personality and achieve my life goals\u201d and \u201cwhat I as a young person can do for my community, city, country, Europe\u201d This project will be implemented by the three international partners from Poland and Lithuania. The project will involve an international team of 20 participants. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Project goal: positive examples and best practice dissemination help to encourage young people to participate in public life as a European citizen to contribute to the overall vision of development of Europe. To go for participants progress and help to find the way to achieve their aspirations, their life goals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Project idea \u2013means that each of us have possibility to hold his own life in his hands and make impact on it. How you will create your life vision, how you will plan your life in this way you will live it. Therefore, during the project and aims to help young people to improve themselves, to achieve common vision of youth positive life in Europe. Project oriented and involves young persons with the less possibilities and less advantaged young people. Project will be organized by three partners from the Poland and Lithuania. The project main theme can be defined as: Involving youth with fewer opportunities in public life, promoting their personal growth as European citizens and promoting them to develop a clear vision for its future and its aim as a European citizen.<\/p>\n\n\n

The GO! (Good Opportunity!) project is a youth entrepreneurship initiative that was developed as a collaboration between Lithuania and Poland. The project aimed to provide young people with the skills and knowledge they need to become successful entrepreneurs, while also fostering cross-cultural understanding and cooperation between the two countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project’s GO! idea was to bring together young people from both countries to participate in a series of workshops, training sessions, and networking events focused on entrepreneurship. The program included a range of activities designed to help participants develop their entrepreneurial skills, including group discussions, simulation games, and hands-on projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the program, participants had the opportunity to engage with local entrepreneurs, business leaders, and community members, and to learn from their experiences and insights. They also had the chance to develop their own business ideas and pitch them to a panel of judges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of the program, the participants had gained valuable knowledge and skills in entrepreneurship, as well as a deeper understanding of cross-cultural communication and collaboration. The project was considered a success, with participants reporting high levels of satisfaction and a strong desire to continue pursuing their entrepreneurial goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The GO! Project exchange program took place from August 2-8, 2022 in Kaunas, Lithuania, with the participation of 20 young people from Lithuania and Poland, split into two groups of 10 participants each. The program lasted for seven days and focused on non-formal education methods and intercultural learning. The first day was dedicated to getting to know the participants, the program’s goals and objectives, and forming the team and collaboration skills. The second day was focused on intercultural learning activities and simulation games that helped better understand and appreciate other cultures. The third day involved interacting with local community members and contributing to their needs. The fourth day focused on leadership and role-playing games that encouraged group member role changes. The fifth day was dedicated to discussions and group work on youth participation, personal development, leadership, and good examples. The sixth day involved group work on what young people can do for their community, city, country, and Europe, followed by a cultural evening event. The seventh day was for evaluating the results achieved during the program, planning future actions, discussing project sustainability, and awarding participants with certificates. The program used various non-formal education methods such as creative activities, group processes, intercultural collaboration, social entrepreneurship promotion, and information dissemination through lectures. The program was tailored to the needs and expectations of the participants, with daily reflections and feedback sessions. The program aimed to promote personal growth and leadership skills in young people, encourage youth participation in public life, and foster intercultural understanding and cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    GO! Project provided a valuable opportunity for young people from Lithuania and Poland to learn from each other, develop new skills and perspectives, and work together towards common goals. The project’s focus on non-formal education methods and intercultural learning ensured that participants gained valuable knowledge and experiences that they can apply in their personal and professional lives.
